Rules of Students’ Benefits (in English)
According to the new Regulations of Benefits, each adult in the family should submit a statement on their current income situation (A and B statements and are mandatory). It is also mandatory to submit a declaration of the family member on the amount of non-taxable income. Submitting declarations does not exempt from attaching the complete set of required documents to the application (Annex 2 to the Regulations of benefits for UW students).
Statement A – for people who get their income from the same taxable source as in 2018.
Statement B – for people who have not shown income on the tax office certificate or who have lost their entire income on the certificate.
The C statement – instead of ZUS for students – can be used if the student has not submitted a tax return (and there is a certificate from the Tax Office for this) and is subject to parental insurance (under 26 years of age). This statement in no way replaces the ZUS certificate from persons who submitted a tax return for 2018.
Statement D – general formula
declaration_not subject to taxation
Students submit an application for the grant in the academic year 2020/2021 in the form of an electronic document by USOSweb – the application submitted in this form is authenticated in a way that ensures the possibility of confirming the origin and integrity of the data in electronic form. In particularly justified cases – e.g. in the event of technical errors preventing the submission of an application in the form of an electronic document in the USOSweb – the application for the aid with attachments may be submitted in paper form to the Commission for Benefits for Students of the University of Warsaw at the University of Warsaw Student Council.
Students may apply for the aid throughout the entire academic year.
