This information concerns all courses that have not been linked automatically at the time of registration, including ongoing language courses started in the winter semester”.
We kindly remind students that if they would like to write their theses under the supervision of a researcher that is not currently teaching the seminar course (both bachelor or master courses apply) they are entitled to ask the chosen person for supervision. The agreement should be received in written form and accepted (also in writing) by the lecturer teaching the seminar of the thesis specialisation. The paperwork (scanned) should be forwarded via e-mail to the Office of Students’ Affairs for including into student’s files. The team of selected international students will take part in the series of online interactive workshops dedicated to promotion and communication, cross-cultural skills and video making. The grand finale of the project will be a preparation of an official video promoting extracurricular activities among the academic community.

Dear Students, I would like to inform you that by the decision of the Vice-Rector for Students and Education Quality, prof. dr hab. Sławomir Żółtek, from February 1 to February 21, 2021, it will be possible for students to add subjects at USOSweb to the summer semester of the 2020/2021 academic year. This applies to all subjects that were not covered by the mechanism of forcing connections during registration for these subjects, including foreign language courses in a situation where the student continues language classes started in the winter semester. we invite you to take part in new and unique lectures of prof. Laurent Chrzanovski (Program ZIP, co-financed by Europejski Fundusz Społeczny PO WER, ścieżka 3.5”).
The classes entail:
- Iconographical Dictionary of Roman Lamps
- Lighting and light in Antiquity
- Workshop on lychnology
A wealth experience of prof. Laurent Chrzanovski will allow you become familiar with the issues of lighting and lamps in all ancient world.
Welcome Point and The Volunteer Centre of The University of Warsaw would like to invite you to take part in a series of online workshops on the topics such as promotion and communication, cross-cultural skills and video making. The grand finale of the project will be a preparation of an official video promoting extracurricular activities among the academic community. The workshops will be conducted by experienced trainers and project coordinators. Communication and promotion experts will also join us to share their knowledge and tips with you!
When and where?
We will meet every two weeks on Wednesday afternoon, starting from March up to May. If you qualify for the workshop, we will send you a link to the meeting platform. Please have in mind that project will last 3 months and your attendance at meetings is essential for us (only 1 absence is allowed).
Who can participate?
- 2nd and 3rd year students of 1st cycle (Bachelor’s degree)
- 4th and 5th year students of uniform Master studies
- students of Master’s degree studies (Master’s degree)
