Seria wykładów dotyczyć będzie aktualnych problemów archeologii białoruskiej, różnych hipotez dotyczących pochodzenia i rozprzestrzeniania się kultur archeologicznych na terytorium Białorusi w pierwszym tysiącleciu n.e.
Wykłady poprowadzą trzej białoruscy historycy z Wydziału Archeologii UW, którzy z powodu represji politycznych zostali zmuszeni do przerwania pracy naukowej na Białorusi.

on behalf of the organisers I would like to invite you to the seminar, which is organised as part of the Science at Risk Lecture Series: Slavs, Balts and Germans on the territory of Belarus in the 1st millennium:an archaeological panorama.
The lecture series will deal with current problems of Belarusian archaeology, various hypotheses on the origin and spread of archaeological cultures in the territory of Belarus in the first millennium AD. The lectures will be given by three Belarusian archaeologists from the Faculty of Archaeology University of Warsaw, who were forced to stop their scientific work in Belarus due to political repressions.

The meeting is organised in cooperation between the Zentrum für baltische und slawische Archäologie Schleswig, Exzellenzcluster ROOTS an der CAU Kiel and the Faculty of Archaeology University of Warsaw.
The seminar will have a hybrid form, and will take place on 13 December 2022 at 18:00 in Room 2.09A of the Faculty of Archaeology of the University of Warsaw.
